WERNER TRIESCHMANN has lived on the margins of the playwriting world so long he's forgotten how the whole sorry mess got started. Mind you, he's been fortunate and happy to see his plays performed in a lot different stages in a lot of different cities from Los Angeles to New York and (his favorite) Albuquerque. Usually, though, the places have been smaller rather than larger (ask him about the broom closet in Denver that tried to pass for a theatre). Anyway, Werner is just stupid enough to keep on going despite all the evidence to the contrary. For some reason, he seems to really dig it.
