C. D. MITCHELL is a lifelong resident of Paragould, Arkansas and received his MFA with concentrations in fiction and nonfiction in Spring of 2006. Mitchell  has fiction and nonfiction appearing or forthcoming in the Arkansas Review, the North Dakota Quarterly, Big Muddy, and the Bearcatz Connection. His essay, "Fort Pillow" was nominated by the Arkansas Review for a Pushcart Prize.
