Sandy Longhorn is the author of Blood Almanac (Anhinga Press, 2006), winner of the 2005 Anhinga Prize for Poetry.  New poems have appeared or are forthcoming in the Indiana Review, Quarterly West, Redivider, West Branch, Zone 3, and elsewhere.  This past year, she received an individual artist fellowship from the Arkansas Arts Council.  In 2003, Longhorn earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.  Currently, she teaches at Pulaski Technical College and lives in Little Rock.
